The new Nightmare skirt from Sn@tch is a gorgeous construction of sculpted prims. My first instinct was to put together something traditionally gothy, but I ran across this hair and decided to take it in a different direction…
A few caveats:
The skirt: is constructed of all sculpted prims, so it tends towards stiffness. This is minimized by multiple pieces on different attach points, so it actually dances fairly well. But don’t expect to be able to sit or contort and keep the illusion of a flowing skirt. Ahhh, flexy sculpts… one day, my preciouses. Yessss…
The belt: doesn’t exist. I made it from the collar, which is mod and copy. (So have at it if this appeals to you! It’s not too hard if you can edit linked prims. Each link is one sculpted piece, so it stretches quite easily.)
The neck brace: is actually two different pieces, stacked on top of each other. Details in the credits.

Aaaaaand the gorgeous Varda Rose Crown, from Illusions! Of course Siyu spoils us with scripted texture-change leaves and petals. And not in just humdrum regular rose colors, oh no. These are stunning bi-colors and fades, delicate and touchably realistic.

I am adorned in elegant new rags from Plastik today. Seriously, how cool is this Ellantha dress? Jagged strips of fabric and fishnet, laced and bound and draped. Throw in a fishtail hem, and you’re pretty much guaranteed my adoration.
I’ve been all about some Exile hair lately, I know. It’s a grievous oversight on my part that I haven’t gushed over them more in the past, and I am in the process of correcting this with much gusto. This hair reminds me of those sunflower costumes you see kids wearing sometimes, like a big poof in the front with your face sticking out of the middle.

There are, however, notable exceptions. And the upcoming WILD.Released stamp hunt is a big one. It’s the brainchild of Faery Sola (of Studio Sidhe,) so that should tell you something about it right there. If you haven’t heard of it, head over to the WILD.Released blog to learn more and get all excited with me. It’s a small hunt, with some of my absolute favorite SL artists participating. And let me tell ya, the prizes that I’ve seen are absolutely top notch.
