So, the other day (read: This morning) I thought to myself. “Darth Snookums (because recently that is what I am calling myself in my brain), I wonder if it would be possible to get an old school punk look in SL”

And I think I did. Maybe. Fuck if I know anymore.

Apparently, I’m looking for a fight. What I’m pissed about this time, I can’t really tell anymore. But on with the sneer. I was once told sneers are a very important aspect of punk rock. Also, it makes me sing Elvis songs. Maybe the two are related?

I was out hunting for nothing in particular yesterday and then I came to Ookami Ningen, which is owned by the completely awesome Zorena Deckard. I think I definitely like what I came home with.

Both outfits came with the boots. The one on the left is called Regimented, the one on the right is called Dashing Cossack.

Both outfits come with prim cuffs, prim bottoms. The Cossack outfit comes with a variety of Epaulets and a fur collar if you so desire. I went with the high collar for this photo.

Trying something a little different this time, and so, I present to you the first in a probable series of/on urban predators, which I’m (obviously) calling Shepherds & Wolves.  Enjoy!

“He’s too pretty to be dangerous,” that’s what she’d told Magdalena.

“Honey, you got it all wrong,” Maggie’d replied.  “Any boy that pretty’s either gay, or EXTRA dangerous, girl!”

They’d both laughed then, and Andi’d made her way across the bar.

“My name’s Andi,” she said, nerves disarming her usual sharp tongue as she’d gotten closer.  It wasn’t just his looks- he was hot, but so were lots of guys.  It was just… him.  The way he’d watched her from across the bar earlier, like a wolf idly considering a lamb it’d marked as prety, debating which first strike would be the most exquisite.  The way his lips brushed the ice in his drink as he savored a slow sip before even acknowledging her introduction.

“Mmhmm.”  The way his voice cut through the din to deliver a noncommital response to her that was half purr, half growl.

“It’s short for Andalucia,” she added, groaning inwardly at how vapid she must sound.

“Jude,” he offered back, still studying his drink as he swirled it around the cut crystal rocks glass.

“Short for Judas?” she asked, laughing, finally reclaiming a touch of her usual snark.

He made eye contact then, the almost luminous lavender-blue of his eyes reminding her of childhood stories of how a cobra’s stare would hypnotize its prey, and his sensual smirk reminding her of far more adult fancies.

“Sometimes,” he said, his voice velvet and shadow.

“Sometimes.”  He punctuated his repetition by reaching out and tracing her lower lip with the tip of his right index finger, playful smirk becoming cruel smile as she trembled involuntarily.

She knew then that she was his, for tonight at the very least.

“Are you going to hurt me?” she heard herself ask without even realizing she’d spoken, and his faint laugh slid shivers down her spine.

“Why?” he asked.

“Would you like me to?”
