Mmm… newness. So many things to share with you.

First, the outfit.  More genius from Ghanima Uriza at Blue blood.  I just love the styling of this set.  With its floppy jacket collar/hoodish bit, generous prim leg flares, bedecking of little skulls and ankhs, and lovely tailored styling, the Chastity suit  falls somewhere between casual and formal.  But I love that about it.  Available in her usual complement of jewel-like colors, but you know how I loves me some purple.

Today’s hair is from a new-to-me shop called Karma, which I discovered through a FashCon notice last night.  This kind of gem is the reason I slog through all the notices.  Sometimes, just sometimes, you get a line on something that makes it all worth it.

All of the poses I used are from Reel Expression’s limited edition sets for the RFL Fashion Expo event.  Get ‘em while you can.

Last but not by any means least, the skin.  Munchflower Zaius has released a fun, dark, and colorful line of Esoterica skins at Nomine.  Gorgeous, glam makeups in rich colors and amazing styles.  Now for the bad news:  they will be available for this month only.  So get your butt over there.  I’ll be doing my best to entice you with them all month.  Did I mention she has a whole range styled after Jem?  Truly, truly outrageous.

After Grady’s fantastic last post, I tripped over myself in an effort to rush over to Nomine.  I can’t believe I missed this new product announcement.   Munch’s new dresses are daring and awesome.  Alternately swathing you in beautifully textured black fabric, or exposing your bits through a thin scrim of  gauze or fishnet.  (For this photo set, I’ve doubled up the gauze layers to make them more opaque.)

These cool tentacles from Gauze wiggle and lash about with a life of their own.  Hard to photograph, but so much fun to wear.

This ensemble reminded me of some of the cool costumery from The Cell, so I decided to show off this mask from FallnAngel.  It’s an oldie, but still a goodie.

For the next few posts, I’m going to be focusing on poses from some of my favorite shops.  Today’s poses are from AnaLu.  If you’re looking for natural-looking poses that don’t distort the clothing, it doesn’t get any better.

You won’t see me blogging something like jeans very often… but these from DP YUMYUM are extra special.  I have to say they’ve quickly become my favorite pair of jeans in inventory.  I especially love the butt. ^.^  They’re available in different colors, and I’m going to go back and get every single one.

Den-Dou skins…. I’m still undecided, for me.  They look absolutely adorable on some people.  I have real issues with the eyebrows, hence the shaggy-banged do in this set.  However, the lips are luscious and beautiful, and the eyes are lovely.

All of the poses from today’s post are from Sweet Lovely Cute.  A couple of people have passed me this LM when I asked them where they got their darling AO animations.  Really cute, fidgety, sweet animations.  To my delight, I found out that they have a very nice selection of modelling poses as well.

For a few days now, I’ve been tinkering around with a post featuring Tokeo.Plastik.  Then Achariya issued a Posemaker Challenge, and I knew they would work well together.  This outfit is just the kind of thing I go pose shopping in:  Simple pants and a top, hair up and out of the way, to best see the poses and how they affect my (somewhat oddly shaped) avatar.

The challenge:  show a five-pose sampling from one of your favorite posers.

I deliberated over this challenge a bit.  Do I show some ecclectic finds from a favorite little out-of-the-way shop, or do I feature one of my solid favorites from a place more well-known?  When I looked through my pose stand to see who I had the most poses from, there was one clear winner.  The fabulously talented Dove Swanson, and her shop Long Awkward Pose.

Dove’s poses just suit my avatar so well.  Quirky without being crazy.  Fun without contorting the avatar too much.  Full of attitude, each pose seems to tell a story or convey a definite mood.

Oh yes, and back to Tokeo.Plastik:  they’re running a big sale as they prepare to clear out stock and move to a new location, so run on down there.  Their lovely displays of interesting  items in a candy-like array of colors is like shopping crack to me, I just can’t resist.
