Every Sunday after mass, I go to visit my beloved parents.
Today however…
Mademoiselle? You would call me out on a paltry gambling debt?
Alors mademoiselle, We both are wounded and your sword is broken. Honour is satisfied.
I shall consider my debt discharged.
Bonjour papa, bonjour maman.
I bring you greetings from my sister. Alas, she is ill with the flux. She may not live.
I shall pray for her, and for you.
