Quasi-Piratey
It seems like every time I admire what the lovely Juana Manuel is wearing lately, it comes from Violent Seduction. When I finally had the time to shuffle myself on over, I discovered that it was the interesting Ikaru that I blogged a while back, rebranded and full of new awesome. Most items are sold in full sets, but I feel like they just begged for mixing and matching. So today I show you the fantastic bloomers from the Necromantic set, combined with the Aesthete Waistcoat from silentsparrow. Under that, Schadenfreude’s fabulously versatile oxford in white. I felt a quasi-piratey look coalescing, so I pulled out some lovely big French cuffs from a Gauze ensemble, and my favorite pirate belt from Illusions (which is definitely one of my wardrobe staples.)
I’ve been on the lookout for a pair of spats lately. The closest I’ve been able to find are these boots from Refuge. They are quite adorable, and conveniently scripted with a number of different colors and patterns. But they are also attached to the shoes, and no-mod. So if anyone sees any spats around, drop me a line, would you? I am still on the hunt.
I saw this hair from Another Level on Dakota Lubitsch the other day, and I just fell in love with the way it twirls into two adorable little dollops on top of the head.
Last but not by any means least: NEW EARS! Yay!
SLink has released a darling series of elf ears in a variety of ear shapes and jewelry styles. They come with the awesome SLink Omnihud. If you’ve never seen it in action on their prim feet and shoes, it is just dead easy to use. You can choose a greyscale or flesh colored texture base, then tint to match with an eyedropper much like the SL interface. Where it excels over the SL interface is that you can store about a dozen of your color presets in quick-grab swatches. So you only have to match them once to all your favorite skins.
